Most people have fillings of one sort or another but today, because we are much more conscious of our smile, we can choose a natural looking alternative - the composite or tooth-coloured filling.
Fillings help restore teeth damaged by decay back to their normal function, and can prevent further decay. Your dentist will consider a number of factors when choosing which type of filling material is best for you. These factors include the extent of the repair, where in your mouth the filling is needed and the cost.
We offer initial consultation prior to any treatment.
Feeling Good and looking Great:
Teeth whitening is one of the easiest ways to enhance your looks. Whitening techniques make it possible to have a dazzling white smile in a simple, affordable and safe way.
Whitening can be carried out at home, in surgery or by using a combination of these 2 techniques. A whitening consultation is highly recommended in order to assess which technique best suits your requirements.
At Lancing Dental Care, we offer Zoom teeth whitening, Chair side Zoom whitening or a combination of both:
Chair side Zoom whitening is an inhouse treatment that has the potential to take you up to 3/4 shades lighter in tooth color in an hour of treatment.
Please note that if you already have crowns or teeth colored fillings, this will not have an effect on them.

Dental Implants are replacement roots usually made of titanium which integrate with your own bone. To this is attached the visible tooth part, or the crown. Because the implants bonds with the bone, it is the strongest and most long lasting method of tooth replacement.
Custom Treatment Planning
The process starts with an initial complimentary consultation to learn about the treatment options available, followed by an in-depth clinical assessment.
This clinical assessment includes taking clinical photographs, radio-graphs (X-rays), CT Scan (if required to assess bone), full mouth, gum, and bone health check. After this a bespoke treatment plan is created, and the best type of dental implant and size is selected. A full treatment plan is created, outlining the treatment stages.

Crowns are sometimes called caps, because they sit over your real tooth, covering its whole surface. When a tooth is cracked or damaged, a crown will give it the strength it needs.
At Lancing Dental Care, we use only the highest quality materials for our crowns. Our technicians make sure we match the colour, size and shape of your real teeth perfectly, so the crown looks as realistic as possible.

Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front side of teeth to improve the overall appearance of teeth. They are made of either thin plastic resin or porcelain and can be placed to:
• correct poorly formed or mildly mal-positioned teeth
• close gaps between teeth
• mask internal stains
• restore partially broken-down teeth
Tooth preparation is minimal and confined to the enamel structure. The veneer is bonded to the tooth structure with tooth-colored resin cement. Several visits are necessary to complete treatment.
Patients should be aware that this is usually an irreversible process because it's necessary to remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth to accommodate the shell.

A simple extraction – this procedure is on a tooth that can be seen in the mouth. For a simple extraction, the dentist loosens the tooth with an instrument called an elevator. Then the dentist uses forceps to remove the tooth.
A surgical extraction – this is a more complex procedure, which is used if a tooth may have broken off at the gum line or has not erupted in the mouth. The oral surgeon will make a small incision into your gum to surgically remove the broken tooth or impacted wisdom tooth.
